On July 2nd, Barcelona Clúster Nàutic held a members-only webinar in collaboration with cybersecurity firm Ackcent.
During the session, experts Lluís Vera and Laia Garcia Padró explained the three key phases to protect an organization against cyberattacks: prevent, detect, and respond.
They also shared crucial insights, such as the fact that SMEs are the main target of cyberattacks, as they represent the majority of the business landscape and often lack the level of protection large companies have.
One of the most important tips was to use different passwords for each platform—an easy yet highly effective way to reduce risks. The session also highlighted that a company hit by a cyberattack takes, on average, 24 days to return to normal operations—underlining the importance of being well prepared.
At the Clúster, we emphasize the need to be well protected in order to avoid incidents that could seriously impact business activity.
